Peace in Life

Cindy interviewer: I’m sitting here with my friend Joe, and we’re having a nice visit. Joe is 88 years young, and I’m up there—but not quite there yet.

I want to ask Joe how he has such a strong, positive outlook on life still.

Joe: You have a strong positive outlook in life. It’s real life. There’s a God. People say that God didn’t write the Bible—but I differ with them.

2 Timothy 3:16 says that God inspired the writing. It came from God Himself—from the breath of God. He gave it to the prophets, angels, and all; they just passed on the Word of God.

And that’s—God doesn’t lie. So, He tells the truth. And He said He created the world.

Cindy Interviewer: So, that is where all your positivity and joy come from?

Joe: Yes, it does. It comes from God. My peace, God gives us. Without God, you can’t find peace.

Cindy Interviewer:  And I say for anyone listening: may the peace of God be with you always. Amen.
