Cindy interviewer: Hi, this is Cindy with Heartspeak, and I’m up at Cape Cod with my dear friend Olga. And the one thing I’ve noticed about Olga is the amount of joy she exudes — from her personality, from her spirit, from her heart. She makes me laugh like crazy and silly all the time. What’s your secret to being so joyful and happy?
Olga: I ,don’t think it’s a secret. I think it’s a part of your being — when you’re connecting with the moment, with the people that are surrounding you in that moment, your heart gets filled with joy. In my sense, my heart gets filled with joy. So I want to — the dog is picking up on the joy! So, it’s almost like it’s overflowing inside of me. When it overflows inside of me, it just naturally comes out into whatever I do, whatever I say. And I just love to share in happiness and laughter, especially amongst my friends and my family.
John: It’s like a virus — a good one! It’s really me.
Cindy interviewer: So, what would you suggest — when you’re with a group, or some people that you encounter — how to help them feel the joy that you’re feeling?
Olga: I think what’s important is connecting with that person, because everyone is on different levels and different sensations at the time. One person could be lost in thought when there is happiness around them, because they’re in their own mind. So, it’s about connecting with each person individually, and bringing up something that they are joyful about, or that they want to share — because now you’re including them, they’re not being left out. So, it’s not about your joy and trying to bring everyone else into your joy. It’s about seeing where you can bring joy where that person is.
John: You’re focusing on them, and not yourself.
That’s a great focus.
