I close my eyes and open my mind to a scene.
It is simple. The same person always appears. The person is near a tree. The person is dressed in a robe, standing. It could be Jesus, Buddha, or some master. But I like to think of the person as my higher self, the part of me that is still on the other side, and has access to great wisdom.
I’ll call the person “the master.”
I don’t speak. The master doesn’t speak. Yet I know the master knows what I need, and always gives me what I need. Something really happens. It isn’t pretend. It only takes 20 seconds.
I do this many times a day. It’s almost like taking a micro-nap, and having an insightful dream. Yes, a day-dream – restful, comforting, all-knowing.
The master is always there, patiently and attentively waiting for me to tune in. I am acknowledging there is more to me than I am aware of, and this act of belief opens a door to the other side, allowing intuition, expansion, calming, healing.
The image is quite vivid. It’s like it is a touchstone, a portal to inner wisdom, to the inner world.
I know it is good for me to go there. It’s pretty easy to do this with my eyes open too.
I am amazed the master is always there and always appears. It’s the consistency and complete availability along with the non-verbal communication that is so impressive. I physically and emotionally feel better when I do this – like I am understood and connected to a higher power immediately.
Perhaps you would like to imagine your higher self appearing for you, and see how it feels. It only takes 20 seconds.
