I got up this morning. I looked out my window. It’s raining, gray, chilly - a little cold out there.
But man, am I glad to be up. I’ve been given another day - another day.
My friend George will always say to me, “Hey, how are you doing.”
And I’ll say, “Good, how are you.”
And he’ll say, “Great. I got up. I got another day.”
Today on my schedule, things are a bit all over the place.
I’m going to be going here, and I’m going to be going there.
You know, I’m going with the flow of energy, and with what may come across my path.
But I look at myself and remind myself: hey, I’ve got another whole day -
and I’m going to be the best, do the best, and feel the best that I can.
If I feel sluggish, or off, I feel it’s time to renew myself. I take a pause.
I have a cool glass of water. I relax for a minute. I go out and get some air.
I just know that all will be well. All is progressing. Things are perking along.
So I hope during the course of your day, you take those times to renew yourself,
refuel yourself, go with your schedule, but be open to schedule changes.
And whatever is going on in your day, keep reminding yourself:
hey, I’ve got another day, another dip, another day.
Our lives are such gifts. We are such a gift.
I always remember: hey, I’m here, I’ve got another day.
So see you - you've got another day.
