My friend called the other day, and was very frustrated, and disappointed.
He was quite upset about something that was going on in his life,
something he could not control. It was something he actually brought into
his path by not taking actions that he should have taken,
on something that he knew he was supposed to take.
He ignored the situation and just went on to continue to move forward,
and then there were consequences to the decisions he chose to do.
And he didn’t like the outcome and had to wait to hear what the final outcome would be.
And it’s like, if this doesn’t go my way, I’m not sure I want to be here anymore.
And I just said, “You know, you are worth so much more than the outcome.
Don’t tie your light into stuff of what you wanted to have happen and
what you don’t want to have happen. Look at the situation.
It was shared with me once that, when we are really uncomfortable about something,
and something is so uncomfortable for us, it’s a good time for us to grow.
It’s a good time for us not to be afraid. For me, it’s my faith in God.
And I just say, ‘God has a bigger plan for my life,’ and I just remain calm,
and know God will remove the fear that is in my thoughts and in my consciousness.”
I said to him, “God has a big plan for you too, not just for me.”
I hope that gave him some peace and some freedom, so he does not
operate in fear and can reevaluate and look at his path,
his choices, that he is still here, living and breathing, and has a heart-beat, and things will turn out, okay.
